Erik Palmberg, DDS

Dr. Erik Palmberg completed his undergraduate degree in biochemistry at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, graduating in 2006, before attending the University of Iowa School of Dentistry, from which he graduated in 2010. He completes more than 100 hours of continuing education training each year and has been named as one of 5280 magazine’s Top Docs for four consecutive years (2018-2021). Dr. Palmberg has practiced in the Denver metro area since 2013.

Dr. Palmberg grew up in Iowa and, after moving to Minnesota for college, followed in his parents’ footsteps by studying dentistry at the University of Iowa. After graduation, he returned to Minnesota to practice for two years before moving out here to Colorado. Spending his time in the mountains, he met his wife, Julie, in 2012 while skiing in Vail. Julie is a pediatric dentist in Parker and grew up in Centennial.

Erik and Julie spend their time enjoying the outdoors with their family, in addition to developing as professionals in the Denver dental community. Over the last few years, they have built a wonderful life together and are excited to see the world through the eyes of their two little girls.

Whether mountain biking, fly fishing, caring for their patients or enjoying date night at a dental study club dinner, both take great satisfaction from giving their best in all that they do. Perpetual students of dentistry, they both stay up-to-date on important advances in dentistry by maintaining affiliations with many study clubs and continuing education series.

As the son of two dentists, Dr. Palmberg’s treatment philosophies are rooted in decades of dentistry. Although he is always learning about the latest and greatest, he takes a conservative approach to treatment, relying on proven materials and concepts to give his patients predictable, affordable and high-quality dentistry. His patient-centered philosophy emphasizes helping patients understand their options and determine the best course of treatment to meet their goals. He is committed to providing top tier dental care and to helping his patients achieve their individual dental goals in a way that fits comfortably into their lives.

Dr. Palmberg is a member of the American Dental Association®, Colorado Dental Association and Metro Denver Dental Society, and he stays up-to-date by studying with the Summit Dental Implant Study Club, Colorado Prosthodontic Society, DentalEd, International Partnership for the Study of Occlusion, Spear Dental Education, the Foundation for Advanced Continuing Education and many others.
