After your implant post has been placed Dr. Erik Palmberg will design and create a restoration to cap it and complete your treatment. This prosthetic tooth is designed to give you a final result that looks, feels and functions just like your original tooth to fully restore your oral health and smile. While the implant post replaces your missing tooth root, the implant restoration replaces the crown of the missing tooth. In many cases, this restoration will be a dental crown, but if you are replacing multiple teeth, our dentist may recommend an implant-supported bridge or an implant-supported denture to meet your needs.
